Hi, John. I do seem to imply that a characteristic can only have one descriptor. Thanks for picking that up, I will edit it. I didn't go into the spec changes, but that is mainly because the article is intended to be a fairly broad-brush introduction. While it is true that not many devices out there are 4.2 - the Braveridge device on the Sensirion module is a BLE 4.1 device - the Cypress BLE dongle used in this article is a BLE 4.2 qualified device and forms part of a Cypress BLE Pioneer Kit for developing 4.2 compliant applications.

Interesting intro, though most devices out there are Bluetooth 4.1 at best. I was hoping you would be covering what is new in 4.2. One small correction: a characteristic can have multiple descriptors not just one as implied.
