The first successful print of my "leera" (λύρα, traditional Cretan instrument) design which was created with DesignSpark Mechanical (see the previous post) is just completed.
The printer used is an ANYCUBIC Photon Mono resin.
Duration of printing 6.5 hours. Supports used: Yes. The dimensions of the print are 10x7x16 centimetres. Almost all features were clearly printed except for the chords (thickness 100 μm), only part of which is visible.
The body of the instrument is hollow.
This is the first time to use a resin printer and I must admit the result is much better than the one achieved with a filament one I tried as well (a PRUSA i3 MK3).
