HARTING is a major supplier of interconnection products to RS. As part of our focus on robotics, we were lucky enough to catch some time with Dr Volker Franke, General Manager of HARTING Applied Technologies, which is part of the HARTING Technology Group.
Dr Franke sees digitalisation in automation as a key topic for HARTING in the near future. Already, some 50-60% of operations are automated, the majority of the rest is supported by automated systems.
