DraftSight Quick Start Guide

DraftSight was designed for ease of use, with a customisable interface and all the tools that help you design faster. This article lists two ways to learn more about these tools and Draftsight features:

DraftSight has produced an introductory guide to explain all the essential tips to help you make the most of the tools and functionality, including:

  • Viewing - navigating easily within your drawing using the scroll wheel on your mouse
  • Geometry - all the tools to draw lines, polyline, circle, arc, eclipse and much more.
  • ESnaps - detects and snaps to definitions points for accurate designs.
  • Dimensioning - dimension your drawings faster
  • DWG file format - fully supported file format, enables previous DWG files to be used in DraftSight.
