Our community has over 570,000 members across 200 countries, but how can one engineer’s knowledge or experience in Tokyo help someone who is reading an article in London, Beijing or Paris? Luckily, we all share one common language... engineering!
DesignSpark exists to bring like-minded people together and help to make their lives easier, regardless of their native language. That's why we translate our content and help to share projects and articles around the world.
Now, for the first time since RS Components launched the community back in July 2010 we have the honour of connecting more engineers, students and makers with the addition of a new French language version of our website.
For the past seven years the DesignSpark site has been available in English, German, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, with members spread across more than 200 countries engaging with each other through articles, commenting, asking and answering questions.
Now we are delighted to announce that a French platform www.designspark.fr has been added to our family. This version of the site offers French-speaking users an easier way to access key information and resources as well as contribute content in French.
There is a famous saying; “en France, on n’a pas de pétrole, mais on a des idées” (in France, we don’t have oil, but we have ideas). Through our online design resources and free downloadable tools for professional engineers, makers, hobbyists and students we want to help turn those ideas into reality, not just in France. but around the globe.
Our five language sites can be accessed at:
- www.designspark.com (English)
- www.designspark.fr (French)
- www.designspark.de (German)
- www.designspark.cn.com (Simplified Chinese)
- www.designspark.jp (Japanese)
Alternatively, you can select your language preference from the language drop-down menu in the top right corner of any page.
A huge thank you to all of our existing members and we look forward to the continued expansion of the DesignSpark community! Vive la France. Vive la communauté.
