X profile surface shape exploration ~ perfume bottle?

TAH1712

The idea came from an online recent video from a popular channel promoting Plasticity

The shape evolved as the 3D form suggested pleasing shapes and finally the fillet sizes ( edge pulled rounds) could be experimented with just by changine their sizes.

For the fillets, I went with what was possible for the given filleting conditions between it's adjacent faces ( 3 very different shape forms all meeting at a single point ) and decided not manually create a rolling fillet even if it could be possible. I actually didn't think it necessry nor attractive with this final 3D form.

Does anyone like this?

Always do the small fillets last...

I might attempt later an alternative manual fillet ~ might

There are some very useful tips concerning the breaking of edges to allow such manual filleting on that video. In DSM we can break edges directly without splitting the surface using the isoparam UV paths.

Nope. Ordinary fillets definitely good enough around these 3 intersecting faces with a single common tangency vertex - which is a bad visual design.

Looks best with a small blend.
