I have a set of plans and a grp hull to build a 1/48th scale model of a WW2 minesweeper. I want to cut the decks out on my CNC router. How can I trace the relevant parts from the pdf Design Spark and maintain scale accuracy? So far I have tried converting to a jpeg and importing into Design Spark but it never comes out with the correct dimensions. I have attached a screenshot of the 1/48 scale plan. Normally I would trace the plan on to draughting film and cut out using a utility knife and fretsaw but arthritis in my hands makes using hand tools very difficult. Any advice would be gratefully received.
