I am designing a bubble grid that will be used to test a concept for lifting and removing microplastics from our oceans. The problem I am having is that with the hundreds of holes created in the surface the application is becoming unresponsive.
If I attempt to move the face with all the holes on it, the application comes to a standstill. I left it overnight and it was still thinking.
Design notes: each ring of holes is a pattern of 0.5 mm diameter holes. Even creating the patterns proved to be very slow.
Is there a trick to getting this right?
