I need to rotate the inner and outer rings such that the mid point of one of the teeth aligns (in the top view - bottom right) with curved construction line. I've pulled the curved line down so that it intersects the rings, but it doesn't really help much in determining how much to rotate each ring as it doesn't create a point or line to which I can snap to (accurately) determine the rotation angle needed.
I've tried eyeballing it, but it simply isn't accurate enough. I eventried calculating it geometrically, but I musta messed that up because it was wildly out.
Any suggestions?
