So, I am using DesignSpark PCB 8.1.2, I have completed my schematic and assembled mainly SMD components on the top side of a simple 2 layer board.
Before I use Tools - Auto Route Nets - All Nets, I need to create an exclusion zone to stop the autorouter placing track and/or vias within that zone. Typically, this would be used to prevent track being placed in or under an antenna area and/or under an IC to so as not to interfere with specific thermal vias being provided later.
I have read a couple of articles about copper pour shapes and keepouts but as yet not been sucessful in stopping the tracks/vias entering these supposed 'no-go' areas.
Your help is greatly apperciated. Thanks..
