After a somewhat controversial Milan Fashion Week, Dolce and Gabbana succeeded in stealing the limelight with their new models....quadcopter drones!
Although there was a slight delay as the crowd of fashionistas didn't quite understand the request to turn off their wi-fi & hotspots, the show ran smoothly and the drones showcased the handbags in a unique way.
D&G aren't the first fashion brand to use drones on the runway as 'drone models' were used in Silicon Valley Fashion Week in 2015. So not a completely unique idea and I'm sure drones won't be replacing models anytime soon, but it certainly was entertaining and did the job for Dolce & Gabbana as far as PR is concerned!
