How to Migrate from the Keysight 34401A to the 34461A Truevolt Digital Multimeter (DMM)

The 34401A has been the industry-standard and trusted workhorse for several decades. The 34461A DMM is the next-generation of the 34401A. This new DMM is designed by many of the same R&D engineers who designed the 34401A.

With this continuity of experience and expertise, Keysight has made a DMM that is a virtual drop-in replacement for the 34401A and offers improved usability and measurement technology.

The new 34461A DMM displays DMM results in ways you have never seen before:

  • Colour, graphical display with built-in bar chart, histogram, trend, math, and statistics
  • I/O: USB, LAN/LXI, GPIB (optional)
  • BenchVue Enabled. Control your DMM from your PC to view and capture your data easily.

Measure with unquestioned Truevolt confidence:

  • 12 measurement functions: DC/AC voltage, DC/AC current, 2- and 4-wire resistance, Diode, Continuity, Frequency, Period, Temperature, Capacitance
  • Basic accuracy: 0.0035% DC, 0.06% AC
  • 1000 V max voltage input, 10 A max current input
