I have no clue how to do this.

So I have a drawing challenge I have not been able to beat. So I am looking for ideas on how to move forward.

I have attached a drawing of a plane I am trying to draw. Most is easy peasy stuff to do but the cockpit I am stumped.

IF you look at the attach photo you can see that from above the cockpit is teardropped shape..so simple. ah no

If you look at the side profile you can see it's thicker at the front then the rear.

IF you look at the front view, you can see it's sort of a flatter bottom.

I am stumped how to do this. I have tried every trick I can think of with now luck. 

So I am looking to the community for any suggestions on how to do this.
