The beginners video from RS demonstrates DSM features but lacking in showing how to go about in crafting an object. I find myself struggles to create a model for 3d printing while I can whip up sometime fairly quickly in Openscad.
Today, I found this Youtube channel that has a series of 5 to 10 min videos. They are not instructional video. There are no teaching just music playing the background showing how the author go about creating a model from mechanical drawings or from a 2d sketch image.
After watching a number of them, I realize that I need to approach modeling differently in DSM. It is more like wood working that requires a lot of jigs to get the shape and angles needed
I hope this will benefit someone who is struggling with DSM.
