Formula Student 2024 RS Build Fund

RS Grass Roots Education are proud sponsor of iMechE Formula Student and we have opened the Build Fund for the 3rd year to support the Formula Student team with hands-on technical learning product donations worth £1000 or equivalent.

We understand building a Formula Student car is neither easy nor cheap, so we are doing our part to help students around the globe realise their goals through practical experience.

The application is simple, tell us about your team, and your objectives. Tell us how you would like to use the fund, which technical skill are you developing by being part of a Formula Student team and how will our fund enable your team and your participation in the chosen competition.

Eligibility

  • You must be a registered member of DesignSpark (sign up here) 
  • Aged 18 or over as of the date of entry 
  • A registered Formula Student Team 

Successful  Teams 

The chosen teams to receive our Build Fund are expected to:

  1.  Sign our simple agreement
  2.  Create a video introducing your team and your workshop and tag us on your socials (Video guidance will be provided)
  3.  Order your products and get building!
  4.  Create a DesignSpark article to summarise the build, this could be: key learning, challenges, product review, future plans etc.

Funding

RS products to the value of:

Formula Student: £1000 GBP/or equivalent currency (inc.VAT) is available per successful team

Applicants/Teams outside the UK should be aware that all product donations are subject to export control regulations (i.e delays or cancellations may occur)
