As I'm using DS PCB as a new and free solution to design pcb's
there is missing an urgently needed function:
A possiblilty to export an unrouted but part placed board i.e. to a shape orientated
auto-router like Electra. As I'm using that routers since the beginning
of EDA software on PC's in the middle of the 1980s, its a pitty not having that export function
(file format/extension is .dsn) implemented in DSPCB.
It would be not only a "nice to have" rather than a MUST to get
high speed 12-layer boards auto-routed and optimized under industrial
EMC standards.
What do you think?
Is it possible to add this feature very soon?
If not, why not write an extern utility to convert?
