I'm now using V5.0 and no longer able to create a pattern around a circle. I'm trying to draw a gear (which I have done many times before) by drawing a circle, adding one tooth, and then copy the teeth around the gear using the "create pattern".
In the 3d mode, I highlight the gear tooth, select "Move", move the axis to the center of the gear, select "create pattern" and rotate the tooth. When I move the tooth it shows the angle value until I let up on the movement. Then the angle value goes away with out an opportunity to set the value. It also does not show the "count" and number of copies.
I have done this a number of times on V4. Has the routine changed or what am I doing wrong?
