Clip planes are infinite, whether the clip plane belongs to a single component 4 levels down in the structure browser or directly under root, it will dissect all displayed.
Current functionality is to 'Exclude from Clipping Plane' anything you want to fully see - this can be anything from a single part to a very complicated assembly.
The problem: Unclipped parts then become visual only - unable for anything. Also, unclipping requires structure tree searching.
One solution: Resizable 'extents' of clipping planes...
3 operational states ( 2 new):
1. Infinate through all displayed ( as now)
2. Upto 'extents' of owning body only. ( no selection of unclipping parts necessary)
3. Resizing U.V of clip plane as desired - and remember this. (dynamic clipping, perhaps using 'Upto' )
Within the clip plane, ability to Unclip anything must still be an option and the part should be allowed to be fully selectable.
