CONSTRAINT LAYOUT SKETCH PLANES - WHY USE THEM?

TAH1712

Constrained sketch planes can be copied moved to a new location in Z direction.

Sketch geometry can be moved to a new position and geometry changed as per the constraints - by entering revised values the changes can be made quickly.

A selected sketch in the structure browser can be right clicked and with the 'Use 3D' command, a face is made with all the curves remaining in the constrained sketch for more dimensional changes and more faces..

Designs like this lofted wing can have many wing shapes made using this principle.
