I found on YouTube (YouTube Current Booster) this circuit, and would like to try it on a current project. I do not need 60 Amps but only 10 to 12 Amps. My question is can I use a single MosFet instead of the 2 in their circuit? According to the IRFP2500 data sheet it can handle 30 Amps, which is a lot more amps than I need. What MosFet will fit my needs? If possible an SMD device (with a heat sink) would be nice but not necessary.
The power supply I plan to use is Buck Regulator Power Supply Module.
Is this a good design?
