This has actually been a bug for as long as I can remember but as it still hasn't been fixed I'll repeat it here.
If you add a value to a component and turn it on (tick the box) then the component name also gets turned on. This means you have to go back in to the properties and untick it.
I give all my components an 'ID' value - I generally put multiple designs on a single panel so I use ID as the component reference rather than the name which I have turned off. I've just added a couple and each time Name has been turned back on even though I've not altered that setting.
I've also seen cases where even when the ID value is ticked it doesn't show up and you have to go in, untick > OK, go back in re-tick > OK to get it to show up.
As an aside, it would be so much easier to have all component properties on a single tab rather than having to change back and forth between tabs. It's not as if the window that comes up is that big that you need tabs.
