Using the blend tool to link different diameter circles into a donut shape.
It appears there may be an influence based on the pull direction as shown by the Pull Tool, but may be something else.
The blend tool appears to choose the long way round when asked to follow the centreline using the select centreline tool.

I would appreciate any guidance that would assist in forcing the blend tool to follow the circular path.

Splitting the circle in two, does not resolve the issue
When you first hit the blend tool, it looks like it will work well.
Once you use the Select centreline tool
It goes all wrong.
