Engineered Introductions - Sign up by April 18th

Let us connect you to someone new!

Engineered Introductions matches you to another student engineer - a chance to expand your network and make new connections outside of your usual circles. Virtually meet student engineers from other Universities, connect & have a chat!

The student engineering community is awesome - you never know, you might meet your future colleague, hackathon teammate or start-up co-founder! Your Engineered Introduction could be a one-off conversation or the start of something more.

It’s simple and easy to get involved. All you need to do is:

  1. Sign-up by the 18th April 2021
  2. You will be introduced to your new connection via email on the 23rd April 2021
  3. Over to you to arrange a chat :)

It’s a vital part of your professional development to network and connect with new people, so why not start with your peers at other Universities. Have a chat, share knowledge, discuss ideas, motivate and inspire each other. We are here to help connect you - no matter where you are.

What should we talk about?

You can talk about anything you want: hobbies & interests, university life, projects, ambitions, work experience.

What platform do we use to talk to each other?

It’s completely up to you! We would recommend something like Teams, Zoom or Google Hangouts. You should also connect on LinkedIn.

What information do I need to provide?

It’s a straightforward form, we just need to know:

  • Name
  • University
  • Course
  • Country of study
  • Year of study
  • Email address
  • A short introduction (hobbies & interests)

Who can sign up?

Anyone studying an Engineering & Technology related course at a UK University. Check out the Terms & Conditions for more information.
