I'm using the simulator for the first time to look into the pulse control of a DC motor with a frictional load using a MOSFET H-bridge. Having experienced difficulties with the results, I have simplified the design greatly to that detailed in MAG2 which simply powers up the motor with 24V to its steady state before switching the power off. I would expect the motor speed to decay to zero as its inertia dissipates. Why doesn't this happen?
