New Design. Plan View. Draw 12mm cirle around origin. Draw 10mm x 16mm rectangle equidistant around origin overlapping circle. Use trim tool to trim away top and bottom of rectangle and arcs at the sides; leaving a12mm circle with 10mm flats.
Now double click to select all lines, use Offset Curve tool to create a concentric shape 0.1mm bigger.
According to the help: "To copy a sketch line
Ctrl+drag (with the Select tool) while sketching to copy a sketch line.
Press the spacebar while Ctrl+dragging a sketch line to dimension the distance between the first line and the second, copied line.
"
So, double-click the outer shape, hold control, drag with the mouse and hit the space bar to allow you to enter the distance away it the copy shoudl be moved -- but it doesn't work.
Why not?
