After successfully sending a Superman Action Figure to the edge of space and back in 2014, a group of DesignSpark friends got together to create a new engineering adventure.
Follow their trials and tribulations as they set to design and build a 3D printed model boat that’s capable of navigating itself across the English Channel and hopefully into the record books.
With a world record attempt out of reach, the team are determined to prove that their boat can withstand the rigours of the open water. Join them as they set sail on an 8-kilometre route from Hurst Castle across the Solent to Fort Albert and then down to Needles Lighthouse on the Isle of Wight.
