Happy Designing!
I use DesignSpark PCB and I have schematic design, so I want to import the design into DesignSpark Circuit Simulator. I'm using the simulator for the first time to look into the pulse control of a DC motor with a frictional load using a MOSFET H-bridge. Having experienced difficulties with the results, I have simplified the design greatly to that detailed in MAG2 which simply powers up the motor with 24V to its steady state before switching the power off. I would expect the motor speed to decay to zero as its inertia dissipates. Why doesn't this happen? Hi, my name is Riccardo and I'm a new user. I'm working with the browser version of DesingSpark Simulator and I ask you if there's a funcion that creates an automatic Bill Of Materials (I'm working with very basic components, such as resistors, capacitors and leds).
Thank you so much for the answers. Although the automotive industry is moving rapidly toward electrification, there is no reason to stop improving the performance and efficiency of traditional gasoline engines. New power electronics technology from Nexperia can help with that too!
Accurate fuel metering is important for robust engine control, and that translates into tight timing requirements for the fuel injector opening and closing. One method to improve the response of the injector closing is to provide a large back-voltage at the end of the injection event, to rapidly reduce the injector solenoid current. This back voltage can come from the “avalanche” of the main injector driver switch. That switch must be rated to handle repeated avalanche conditions, like the BUK9K13-60RA 240-1816 Power MOSFET from Nexperia. This fuel injector driver example shows the benefit of using that part for better timing control of fuel injector cut-off.

With a Creator or Engineer subscription, DesignSpark Circuit Simulator allows your simulations to run longer than 1 minute and upto 1 hour of server compute time.
We list some key reasons why you may need an extended simulation time:
Run electro-thermal transient simulations long enough for temperatures to reach steady-state, to verify reliability under real world operating conditions.
Allows compute-intensive simulations, such as switching power electronic circuits, to run as long as necessary for line and load transient response tests.
Monitor the behaviour of critical components to varying inputs over an extended time period, such as for vehicle drive-cycle simulations.

So you've access to your DesignSpark Circuit Simulator, what next? Here, you'll find our tutorials that teach you the fundamentals, right through to more advanced features.
Cover everything from the basics of using your tool to more complex subjects, such as understanding how to work with components or preparing your simulation results.

I'd like to import my own custom SPICE model into the simulator. Is it available in languages other than English? I want to create a design for my own use and don't need a group. Once I open it online, can I keep using it offline? You may see this message when trying to open or browse a design in DesignSpark Circuit Simulator, within the Mozilla Firefox Browser:
"To protect your security, diswlogin.siemens.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window."
Read the reply on how to solve it. If post my design to a public group, would another user who joins it be able to change my original design? Would it be safe from tampering?
