I'm trying to make a SketchUp model 3D printable. One part of the model is a surface on top of a solid. I want to print them separately. I'm able to print the solid but not the surface. In the image below, the orange is the solid and the wireframe is the surface.
How do I turn the surface into a solid such that the bottom and sides of the surface follow the contours of the solid?
