Unbound component

Hallo, I need an help to understand how to properly fix an annoying DS Mechanical behaviour. I often need to use multiple copies of the same component (such as nuts and bolts) in my design. Such copies are bound togheter (by DS Mech) and, if I need to move one of them after placing, the whole set moves trying to keep the same reciprocal offsets.
The only solution I found is to set every component as 'indipendent' this solution has the side effect of creating multiple instances of identical objects that are treated as single NOT only for the placement and thus any modification to the original component is not reflected by its clones.
Is there a way to allow free movement between cloned components whitout cutting the relationship with their ancestor?
