Create + Engineer Issue 1: Mending Our Ways

In this our first edition we look at Café Culture, with a twist of technology thrown in. Repair, recycle and reuse is nothing new but recently it’s been gaining more traction within the electronics community, through things like the Circular Economy and with the global Repair Café. Founded in 2007 the Repair Café is now a worldwide operation where engineers give new life to products that would normally be discarded.

Keeping up with technology can be fast paced, so in this edition we delve into 6 areas for future thinking. Also, will AI help engineers and what advances are happening within the smart home.
