Hello. For my part when I tinker with Arduino, I use LEDs with integrated resistor like 860-9712 - yellow - which allows for testing without having to wire an additional resistor (false contacts, increased risk of short circuit ...). To be checked if it lights sufficiently under 3.3V. Bernarduino
