Wearable Technology Design Challenge

Welcome to the DesignSpark Wearable Technology Design Challenge.

In this design challenge, you need to create a wearable piece of technology that can help with someone's personal safety or improve and monitor their health.

Requirement for entry

The entry will be the users own unique design.

There must be some form of monitoring with a feedback mechanism to inform the wearer of an event.

Simply share your project including an overview and video demonstration of the device in use.

The prize is a £1500 RS shopping basket chosen by you.

How to enter

To enter the DesignSpark Wearable Technology Design Challenge simply click on the contribute button below and share your project by writing an article. Use the prefix Wearable in the title. The article must include an overview and a video demonstration.  


Entries will not be published until after the closing date. 

Please also tick to agree to the terms and conditions of the design challenge below and submit prior to writing your article. 

Key Dates 

The closing date for this challenge is 9am (GMT) on 1st March 2019

The winner will be required to select their shopping basket prize up to the value of £1500 by 22nd March 2019.
