Saving Previous Version Settings
To maintain all your current v13.0.0 or v13.0.1 settings; such as your Library Mapping, custom Technology Files and Colours, please follow these steps.
As always, just in case of any issues and as good practice, please make a backup of your DesignSpark PCB documents folder to ensure you have a backup copy of your libraries.
BEFORE installing v13.0.2
1. With DSPCB closed, in File Explorer, navigate to the DSPCB install folder. Locate and run configman.exe.
2. A window opens, click [Save…], then choose a convenient location and name the file, for example, to v13.0.1 config.cfg
3. Now download and install DSPCB v13.0.2.
At this point, your settings will be configured as a new installation, and you will have only the supplied libraries installed.
4. If you have launched v13.0.2 please close the program. Next, navigate to the DSPCB installation folder and launch configman.exe again.
This time select [Load…] and navigate to your previously saved v13.0.x configuration file and select this.
Your v13.0.2 settings will now match your previous version, and v13.0.2 is ready to launch.
