Hi, I've been using the program for weeks without any issues. Recently, something happened and all of my tool windows and settings have gone bonkers and the program looks very different from when I downloaded it. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled, in hopes of getting back to the original settings and windows within the program. I thought I had it set, but the things I was doing before no longer work for me.
I am making cookie cutters for 3D printing, which used to be very simple with DS Mechanical. Not so much now.
I have used the spline tool and created the shape I want. There are no gaps. I then try to offset it by .8mm (My printer nozzle is .4mm). The offset appears right where I want it to. I then go to "pull" to 10mm, and it pulls the entire drawing, as a solid and not as an empty cutter. No matter what I try, it stays solid. I've been frustrated for several days with this. Am I missing the magical button to press to make this work? I have tried checking and unchecking solid. When I uncheck solid, everything else on the surface level disappears.
I'm confused by this change. Everything worked so perfectly for me the first couple of weeks. I'm not doing anything differently that I can see.
