Whilst we call the BRAVO-T868 a radio module, it is in reality an entire remote control system in module form! The BRAVO can be configured as a transmitter or a receiver, neither require any external components in order to create an 8 channel remote control system with a range of over 500m – in reality we achieved just over 1000m in our open line-of-sight tests.
Don’t be fooled by the simplicity, the BRAVO is an extremely advanced, powerful and feature packed smart radio module. It provides options to suit most situations where the shortest route to market for embedded remote switching is required. Features include:
- Range – up to 1000m
- 8 switch inputs or 8 switch outputs
- In built pairing mode and memory for 70 pairings
- “Watch-dog” signal monitoring
- Built in self-test
- Low voltage – 1.8V – 3.6V operation
Not only can the BRAVO be used as a module to module switch solution it is also possible to use a BRAVO module as a receiver only. RF Solutions’ range of remote control handsets both the ELITE range and the SABRE are compatible.
To demonstrate the speed of integration and hence time to market, brought by the BRAVO the below circuit diagram and video shows a remote control system created between two modules with only a battery and wire required.
Finally, price… the BRAVO costs less than you think, industry leading performance, simple integration and no external components needed – all for less than £15 for one off and around £10 in volume.
