Good Morning, I would be grateful if anyone could help me identify a NFC antenna that I can plug into an Android device. It's really hard to remember where the NFC 'spot' is on a phone so having something that can plug in and do the same job would be very helpful, especially for those people who are not quite so tech savvy!  Thank you in advance,  

Can someone figure out what the issue is?   Connected 2 cables black + red from Offical 7" touch screen to Raspberry Pi 4 model B and white cable.     Nothing showing on screen in terms of any light nor graphical images.

I am attempting to implement an automated watering system for plants using MicroPython and a Raspberry Pi IO, but am experiencing difficulties getting the water pump to function as intended. The pump has a specified operating voltage range of 2.5 - 6 V and a current range of 130 - 220 mA. I followed the instructions provided in a tutorial on https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Automatic_Plant_Watering_System_using_Raspberry_Pi_Pico.html for connecting the pump, but when attempting to use it, I only hear a faint ticking noise. The rest of the system, including the soil moisture sensor, temperature/humidity sensor, and ultrasonic sensor, are functioning properly. Can you provide any assistance in troubleshooting the issue with the water pump?

Hi  I am looking for a battery holder that delivers 1.5 volts for a dolls house lights. I think I want 4 or 6 AA batteries.   How can I tell if the RS holders delver in series or parallel? Thanks

For family and friends over recent years I have recycled several Li-Ion batteries. Several were difficult to extract from older cameras and phones and had swelled significantly! My question is I know using/charging swollen Li-Ion batteries has a fire risk, but what about old presumably discharged batteries that then swell? I went through all my old cameras and phones and then found two in the same state! I'm sure I'm not alone with old equipment so it would be useful to have an answer.

Do I have to change cartridges anytime I want to solder at a different temperature?

When the flux is applied to the electrical leads being soldered, it removes oxidation and prevents air flow into the leads, thereby preventing further oxidation. Solder adheres more easily to non-oxidizing metals, so this way the solder flows evenly over the electrical leads. Since the solder is evenly distributed in the electrical leads, its conductivity will also be improved.

I saw a video that shows soldering SMD devices using a heat gun. So I am wondering what heat gun will work the best? It looked like the device centered itself on the PBC lands as the soldier paste liquidizes. It looked a lot quicker and a lot easier than using a soldering iron.

Hi! I'm currently in need of assistance. I'm trying to work on a project for my home and it's about controlling all my appliances with Wi-Fi. I've made a post like this on KiCad but would need more assistance with regards to the electrical part. I want to make small nodes. There'll be a separate node for main switches, then from the washroom switches, and maybe a third switch to control a window curtain control node. I would like to make different nodes and they'll all have some means of communication. From a personal research I conducted, the only thing I found similar to what I want to design was this. I just need help with the electrical aspect. Although, I've previously worked on ESP32, I'm not sure of me next steps. From what I recall, I think I might have to make some ESP32 mesh networks for multiple nodes to talk to the parent node. Any suggestion will ne truly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. Hey there. Wondering if someone can direct me to the right product for this job. Or put their hand up to take on the project.  I'm looking to create a jackpot scoreboard of sorts. Everytime someone pays a dollar at my venue, I want to be able to see an electronic scoreboard increase. So a simple push of a button should take the value up by 1.  Hopefully someone in here can help direct me to the right product.    Chris

Hi I would like to know, if anyone can suggest a circuit design which can be used for harvesting sufficient electricity from wi fi radio signal to power led bulbs of various colours. Ideally the circuit would also be switchable on and off using the Wi-Fi signal. Would that extra complication need too much power?

Howdy I found on the web something called "TL Smoother" for stepper motors. What is it and how does it work? I am thinking about adding one to a current design. If I do add it I need to use smd 1N5404 diodes. Does anyone know the part number for these smd diodes?
