As with its sister product, the Nicla Sense ME, the Arduino Nicla Vision can be used for a wide range of purposes and can also retrieve and process data. For example, you could program it to recognise when machinery requires maintenance or answer your doorbell when you’re miles from home.   

What are the Arduino Nicla Sense and Vision compatible with? 

The Nicla Sense ME can be powered via a micro-USB (J7), ESLOV (J5) or VIN. As with many of our Arduino boards, the software can be used to program it both online and offline. The Nicla Sense ME can be used with several Arduino products and is compatible with Portenta H7, H7 Lite, H7 Lite Connected, Portenta Vision Shield and MKR WiFi 1010.

The Arduino Nicla Vision can be powered by a micro-USB or even simply by battery for standalone applications. As with the Nicla Sense ME, it is compatible with all Arduino Portenta and MKR products and the software can be used to program it online and offline. The Arduino Nicla Vision also integrates fully with OpenMV and supports MicroPython, offering endless possibilities for your Arduino sensor projects.
