Repair and Reuse
Quality, functionality, ease to repair, recyclability, safe disposal, or end of life are some of the key metrics which users of products are highly prioritizing. Products with a short life span result in huge material wastage, expense in disposal, and environmental implications consequently. The longer life a product can exist in use means the global material depletion is reduced and the increased amount of landfill leading to pollution of water bodies is minimalised.
In an ideal world, products with multiple uses, and provide end-of-life solutions and services on products that could be repaired rather than replaced.
