I would like to cut some brackets on my cnc machine. Up until this point I have only fabricated 2D plates using the software that came with my cnc and a plasma cutter. I would like to now router a 3D bracket but unsure how to produce or convert the file from designspark to a .gm file my machine controller can recognize. I was able to save the and then open the .dxf and then open in my other software "torchmate cad-cam" but it doesn't seem to keep the 3D value.
My machine controller is a torchmate brand software and it appears as though it needs only .gm files to operate. If I could figure out how to properly export to this type of file and retain all the necessary instruction for the machine, I'd be on my way to cutting my first 3D bracket.
