Port that can be closed

AdamRit

We are using a box made of 12mm polycarbonate to dry biological samples. The box is, and needs to be, airtight. At times we need to be able to place thermocouple probes within the box and have the cables pass through the wall of the closed box.

We face 2 challenges.

1. How to have a port that the cables can pass through which can be closed when not in use.

2. How to have a port that the cables can pass through that can be closed around them so the thermocouples can be used when the box is drying samples.

Any thoughts on solutions to this would be very welcome, as it's well outside our team's area of expertise.
