PCB & 3D CAD Design Workshop at the University of Hertfordshire

The University of Hertfordshire (London, England) and RS University are hosting a two-day workshop reserved for engineering academics, students and professionals. It takes place at the University of Hertfordshire on the 14^th and 15^th January 2016. We believe that this event will enable you to master 3D CAD and PCB design tools, DesignSpark PCB and DesignSpark Mechanical, which are available without charge to academia. 

Previous workshops have proven to be informative, easy to understand and quick to pick up for any academic or professional.

Workshops

14^th January 2016 – Introduction to DesignSpark PCB 

09:00 – 16:30

DesignSpark PCB now has over 250,000 registered users. With DesignSpark PCB engineers can develop their circuit boards without restrictions or license limits. Linked to the RS ModelSource library it joins the massive range of the RS catalogue with your PCB designs in just a few clicks.

15^th January 2016 – Introduction to DesignSpark Mechanical 

09:00 – 16:30

DesignSpark Mechanical is an easy to learn and intuitive 3D design package. Traditional 3D CAD is both time consuming and complex, but DesignSpark Mechanical allows users to create complex geometry within hours of first using it. Once designed, users can quickly realise their design using a 3D printer.

The location of the workshops will be held at the University of Hertfordshire at the School of Engineering and Technology Building. Further information will be provided upon registration.
