The new version of Keysight’s 2U ¼-form factor power supply (E36100B) now comes with improved ripple noise, up to 6x improvement in output noise performance (Vrms).
The original A series was popular for its compact size, modern OLED display, USB and LAN connectivity, among others. This B series again comes in five models (up to 5A or 100V), and with additional rack mounting capability.
The E36100B series was designed for quiet operation, minimising acoustic noise when in operation.
Despite being small in size, the E36100B continues to pack the following features:
An intuitive on-screen menu system
The clean design of the E36100B Series front maximizes productivity. The easy-to-use rotary knob and keypad interface allows you to set the output at your desired resolution quickly and easily, with digit-by-digit control. You can store and recall up to 10 complete power supply setups from non-volatile memory in order to quickly change instrument states. The output on/off key quickly turns the output on and off.
Fast, Industry-Standard Programming
Every E36100B Series model ships standard with both LAN (LXI Core) and USB (TMC488). The easy-to-use SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) programming language lets you create fast and simple programs with transient response faster than 50 μs and fast command processing time– less than 10 ms. You can also program the instrument with the power supply’s Interchangeable Virtual Instruments (IVI) driver.
Safety and peace of mind
Backed with 3-year Keysight warranty, these power supplies come with built-in overvoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Recessed binding posts also come as orderable options, while a security slot is available on every unit to enable users to secure their unit.
