I never attempted to remix a 3D printing design but there is always a first time. It just so happens that the AMS units that have been produced for my printer have at least 6 versions so I need to modify a file made by someone else but it will be my first try at doing so. It's a piece to make an AMS stand so you can stack 2 AMS units (automatic material system). There are so many versions and the stand can be made to use two different versions but in my case I need the brackets to do two of the same. The second designer modded this piece to only accomodate the lower unit and not the upper for a V6 from another designers work. So I just need to modify the lower to be used as an upper. I will attach the file. But where the 2 square holes are for the 2020 aluminum extrusion to plug in to, I have to modify the square hole by reversing it. I tried some stuff and am able to remove the section with the chamfered screw hole or slide it to the other side but in the end I can't figure out how to accomplish this correctly. I don't want someone to do this for me but suggestions on how to do it so I can learn how.
Thanks
