My first design

Hello there, I just wanted to present my first design created in DesignSpark Mechanical.

Being passionate about photography, I design to acquisition big light boxes. As I prefer taking pictures in continuous light, I prototyped a complete support, from foot to lamps.

The 3D printing of the pieces is in progress, and I will present them in a future article.

I would welcome the community's thoughts and opinions on this first design attempt.

The DesignSpark Mechanical file is attached at the end of this article.

Bonjour Albert,

Unfortunately I can not open the file , as I only use V1 of DSM.
The image of the file looks outstanding for your first design. I am impressed.

Be aware however of the need for tolerances in where the parts join. If you intend to 3D print the thread then make sure it is not too complex.
Also remember to adjust the 'Resolution' of the STL file. This can be changed in File - DSM Options - File Options - STL - Resolution. Adjust the Deviation and Angle for a smoother surface.

Hi Albert, have to say, I am super impressed with the complexity of this prototype for your first design! Can't wait to see what you create with a bit more experience and practice! Great work and welcome to DesignSpark :o)
