Last summer i lost layers in DS mechanical 1.0.
In new sketch i can only see layer0, cannot create a new one like before. If i open an old project, they still have their separate layers, but i cannot rename old layers, or create a new one and they are unstable, turning off by themself.
I upgraded into mechanical 2.0 and then 4.0, but it did not help. I work with windows 7/64 bit pro with all updates. I have tried other mouses to check that it is not input device problem.
Other features work fine, but the software is pretty useless with only 1 layer. Any ideas what happened?
EDIT: found the solution. In settings, "return docking" or something (my DS in not in english) fixed it. I had not this structure tree visible, somehow i had accidentally disabled it without noticing.
But i could find the layers in "show" tab, so i did not miss it. Only in that tab i could not modify them.
