Editing imported STL files...

When I importe a STL file, it shows upas blueish gray. I can group/merge two if these STLs and also add to the STL  object any thing I want to, but I cannot find a wsy to remove parts of the STL object. How can I turn the STL into a workable model?

Open the 'Containing Folder' in the Structure tree. Select 'Facets'. In the Design Window. Right click - Convert to Solid - Merge faces.

@cdosrunwild When you 'Convert to Solid'. Try without 'Merging' all of the faces. I would then use the 'Geometry' of the the resulting solid or the original STL if it crashed, to 'Draw Over' the 'Curves and Circles' using the 3 Point Circle tool. All of the lines and some of the arcs can be 'Projected' to the sketch plane using the tool 'Project to Sketch'
