I have a PCB design done in Design spark, I have recently started using DesignSpark mechanical. I have done a mechanical design and wanted to import my PCB footpint/3D model into the Mechanical design.
Within the PCB Design software I have exported the idb file. I have then gone into Design Spark Mechanical and done an import, it has put the ECAD files with the idb and idl files. So all seems good there... Within Designspark Mechanical I have select the face that I would like the PCB design to go onto, and then I have selected the idb file through the file option, but nothing happens it jsut pings at me.
I have also tried starting a new project and importing the idb file, but again it just pings at me and my 3d design from DesignSpark PCB does not appear.
I have watched a number of tutorials and guides, they all seem to say the same... Its probably a school boy error, but I have spent 3 hours on this now with no joy.
