How to add layers to DesignSpark Mechanical

Hi all,

I work with Design Spark Mechanical  free verions and want to add a layer to the design. Under diplay>>style there are layers managed and according the documentation I should see in the layer pull down menu and add option. Un fortunatly does my free version not have any options other than showing only layer0. Is this normal for the free version or should I have add layer options.
