Formula using degrees instead of radians

I am new to the forum but have been using DS Mechanical for a year or two for 3D printing. I really appreciate the functionality.

I am current trying out the equation funtionality with some good and some unexpected results which I am hoping to clarify here.

I would like to use degrees instead of radians in the trig functions. (The Design interface standardises on degrees so not sure why formulas should not but I digress.) The documentation states that you I can use the deg/ rad to specify the unit. I have tried but keep getting errors.

I used the following formula as a test which works as expected, a circle with 6 ripples

x=(10+1*Sin(6*[t]))*Sin([t])
y=(10+1*Sin(6*[t]))*Cos([t])
z=0

Interval (t)
Start=0
End=2PI

What I have tried:

t-Start=0deg ; No change Start becomes 0
t-End=360deg ; End becomes 6283,19 and result is an unexpected straigt line
x=(10+1*Sin(6deg*[t]))*Sin([t]) ; Error Illegal name for equation parameter
x=(10+1*Sin(0deg+6*[t]))*Sin([t]) ; Same error

Any suggestions appreciated
