I need to design energy efficient products to fit into an environment where Grid Electricity remains enigmatic, at low cost.
Ambient Lighting, Entertainment (FM Radio+) and Phone charging remain top priorities as well as a modular approach for integration of other features. System control could be achieved through popular microcontrollers such as the Arduino or Raspberry Pi in conjunction with Smartphone applications.
I believe the power requirements are modest and replaceable parts such as bulbs and rechargeable batteries can be made available.
My theories include LED bulbs and Solar panels though I'm ready, willing and able to subscribe to superior knowledge.
My Electronic design is classroom based while fabrication experience are nil.
